2024-25 City Edition Uniforms
Our goal was to establish a unique Trail Blazers plaid pattern and envision how it might look in the future. The 2023-24 and 2024-25 uniforms are part of a two-part story arc. In the 2023-24 season, we honored our traditional retro plaid patterns that you are all so familiar with. In contrast, the 2024-25 season presents a challenge to create a new interpretation of plaid that connects to the future, balancing the essence of "Old School" with the excitement of "New School."

Background
A tribute to the fashion scene of the 70’s decade in which our franchise was established and a specific tribute to our Hall of Famer Dr. Jack Ramsey, who often wore loud plaid patterns throughout his career as Portland’s head coach, including during their 1977 NBA championship. Also, celebrating the many Northwesterners throughout history, from lumberjacks to grunge enthusiasts, from hipsters to hikers, from tree-huggers to campers, from granolas to self-proclaimed fashionistas and everyone in between who have continued to re-invent plaid and cement it as a staple clothing option in our region.
